Charlie Troxel N5CET will be offering Technician, General and Extra license classes via the Zoom platform.
He has been teaching in-person classes at his local Library for three years, but is moving to the Zoom platform to allow those in other areas to attend. You must pre-register with Charlie prior to attending so you can receive the Meeting ID and Passcode for each session. You are not required to have a Zoom account or app and can attend using your browser. He will provide additional information via email. These sessions will prepare you for license testing, which will be provided by your local club.
A General license class is starting on Monday, March 23rd at 6-8pm and continuing each week for 16 weeks.
An Extra license class is starting on Sunday, April 26th at 3-6pm and continuing each week for 18 weeks.
There is no charge or cost to attend and you can either use the Zoom Workplace app or any modern browser to attend.
A Syllabus and each week’s handout will be sent by email 7 days before each session.
You will need to purchase your own book for $20 prior to the first session – an Amazon link will be sent to you once registered.
