The Duke City Hamfest Board of Directors are pleased to announce the 2025 edition of the Hamfest will be held the third weekend of September. Join us from Friday, September 19 through Sunday, September 21 for two and a half days of presentations, seminars, vendor sales, good food, and socialization.
All Hamfest activities will be held at the beautiful Embassy Suites in Albuquerque, conveniently located just south of the I-25/I-40 interchange. We have negotiated a special booking rate for attendees who would like to stay at the hotel for some or all of the weekend. Further details will be shared in the near future.
All of us at DCHF headquarters are busily working on finalizing the details required before we can open registration. We hope to have things squared away in the next few weeks, and will send out another announcement when registration is open. Are you interested in presenting?
Have you been working on something related to Amateur Radio that you think is pretty cool? Consider giving a presentation at the Hamfest! Most presentation time slots are 50 minutes long, including time for Q&A. You don’t necessarily have to give a formal presentation – ideas for hands on activities, demos, and workshops are actively sought. Watch for the formal call for presentations later this spring.
