The West Texas Section invites you to Thursday evening’s May 22, 2025, WTX Section Weekly ZOOM Meeting. Thursday’s meeting will begin with the ARES Discussion at 7:30 PM CST.
Last Thursday, Whit asked you to think of one thing you could train on that would further enhance your capabilities when assisting our served agencies. Please bring your idea(s) tonight, we’ll share and talk about them.
ARRL is looking for ways to encourage clubs to attract and keep members. One activity, that was brought up during the Tuesday Section Manager meeting, is to have activities. What kind of activities, other than Field Day, Tailgates and Hamfests do we have to involve members in our local clubs?
Please plan on joining us and invite anyone you know who would be interested, to join us. They do not have to be an ARRL member, or even an Amateur Radio Operator. We want to use these meetings to get acquainted with Hams across the Section.
If you know of someone who is not receiving these emails (or has changed their email address) and would like to join us, please forward their email address so I can correct their address or add them to the list. There are a few regulars from before our summer break last year who have not returned and we miss their participation.
Whit will host the meeting next week. I will be attending the Texas Emergency Management Conference and will try to join the meeting from Ft. Worth.
